# Ping a heartbeat monitor (HEAD)

Part of the [Uptime API](https://docs-dev.evohub.io/uptime.md) reference · operationId `pingHeartbeatHead`.

The same as the GET form, without a response body.

## Path parameters

- `token` (string, required, example `hb_9e1f3a5c-7b2d-4c6e-8f0a-1b3d5e7f9a2c`): The heartbeat monitor's `ping_token`.

## Responses

### 200 — The ping was recorded.

### 404 — No heartbeat monitor has this token.

### 500 — The ping could not be recorded. Retry.
