# Clear a monitor's silence window

`DELETE https://evohub.io/api/v1/monitors/{id}/silence`

Part of the [Uptime API](https://docs-dev.evohub.io/uptime.md) reference · operationId `clearMonitorSilence`.

Removes the monitor's silence window, so its alerts are sent again.
Succeeds when there was none.

Requires the `uptime:silence:write` scope.

## Authorization

Any one of:

- `bearerKey`
- `headerKey`

Where:

- `bearerKey`: HTTP Bearer — An EvoHub API key (`evohub_…`) as a bearer token.
- `headerKey`: API key in the header `X-API-Key` — An EvoHub API key (`evohub_…`).

## Path parameters

- `id` (string, required, example `mon_8c1d0b52-6f3e-4a7d-9b21-0e5c4f7a3d19`): The monitor's ID.

## Responses

### 204 — The window was removed.

### 401 — No API key was sent, or it is unknown, revoked or expired (`UNAUTHORIZED`).

### 403 — The key lacks the scope this endpoint needs (`FORBIDDEN`).
