# Get the voice-call template

`GET https://evohub.io/api/v1/voice-template`

Part of the [On-Call API](https://docs-dev.evohub.io/oncall.md) reference · operationId `getVoiceTemplate`.

The organization's voice template: the text a phone call reads out about an
alert, with `{field}` placeholders filled from the alert. An organization
without one gets an empty `body` and uses the default call.

**Permission:** none — any valid API key or signed-in member of the organization.

## Authorization

Any one of:

- `bearerAuth`
- `apiKeyHeader`

Where:

- `bearerAuth`: HTTP Bearer — An EvoHub API key (`evohub_…`) as a bearer token.
- `apiKeyHeader`: API key in the header `X-API-Key` — An EvoHub API key (`evohub_…`).

### 200 — The template.

  - `updated_at` (string (date-time)): RFC 3339; absent when no template is saved.
- `success` (boolean, required, value `true`)

### 401 — No API key was sent, or it is unknown, revoked or expired (`UNAUTHORIZED`).

### 429 — Too many requests (`RATE_LIMITED`). Wait `Retry-After` seconds.
