# End a maintenance window now

`POST https://evohub.io/api/v1/maintenance-windows/{id}/complete`

Part of the [On-Call API](https://docs-dev.evohub.io/oncall.md) reference · operationId `completeMaintenanceWindow`.

Ends the window now and keeps it as completed history: paging resumes, the
uptime silences are cleared and the status-page maintenance is marked
completed. Completing a completed window changes nothing. No request body.

**Permission (API-key scope):** `oncall:maintenance:write`.

## Authorization

Any one of:

- `bearerAuth` (oncall:maintenance:write)
- `apiKeyHeader` (oncall:maintenance:write)

Where:

- `bearerAuth`: HTTP Bearer — An EvoHub API key (`evohub_…`) as a bearer token.
- `apiKeyHeader`: API key in the header `X-API-Key` — An EvoHub API key (`evohub_…`).

- `id` (string, required, example `c1d2e3f4-a5b6-4c7d-8e9f-0a1b2c3d4e5f`): The maintenance window's id.
